Sheboygan Service Club hosts Safety Town in partnership with the Sheboygan Recs Department, Police Department and SASD instructors. Safety Town is a summer program with 4 sessions providing 16 hours of safety awareness for children entering kindergarten. Each year approximately 180 children are enrolled in Safety Town.
SSC has offered this program since 1998. Topics include: bike safety, stranger danger, poisons around house, proper hand washing, pet safety, and many other life saving topics. Additionally, your child will be treated to a safe and supervised field trip to St. Nicholas Hospital, Fire Department and the Sheboygan Police department.
